With knowledge of Unity3D, Cocos2D, Unreal Engine 4 and custom, in-house C++ solutions, I have strong experience in the development of games for different platforms. With many titles released for iOS and Android, I have been involved with all aspects of the development process including core gameplay, UI, AI, engine & tool development and the integration of third party and server API's.
I have also taken a lead role in the conversion of in-house engines to Unity3D, taking that opportunity to make the systems more stable and comprehensive, whilst maintaining the fast workflow provided by Unity.
Having worked multiple web-servers to fulfil different needs, I am experienced in specification, the setup and the maintenance of web solutions. This includes standard linux server boxes, AWS, Azure and associated service technologies running platforms including Apache, NodeJS and various database solutions. Additionally I have solid experience of setting up and developing for popular systems like Wordpress and Expression Engine.
Throughout my career I have been involved with various aspects of database development, ranging from the initial scoping and setting up to optimisation for dealing with heavy loads. Amongst the technologies I have worked with are SQL / MySQL and several NoSQL solutions. Projects include the complete development of a highly customised CRM solutions, e-learning platforms, game state syncronisation and content delivery systems.
